Employee Spotlight Aaron Clements: Mortgage Loan Administrator
Batter Up!
We are excited to introduce Aaron Clements, a Mortgage Loan Administrator at Coulee Bank. He grew up in the La Crosse area and attended Viterbo University for a year. He later transferred to the University of Wisconsin in Green Bay. There, he majored in Communications with an emphasis in Electronic Media. After college, Clements returned to the La Crosse area and began processing mortgages for a credit union. He spent seven years at the credit union before moving to a larger financial institution. Eighteen months later, he joined Coulee Bank.
Processing mortgages requires multitasking and effective communication. Clements says, “When I have a big pipeline of loans, I need to be able to bounce between loans that are just starting, wrapping up, and everywhere in between, which can be tricky.” His head is in the game throughout the process, keeping everyone involved, updated, and on track. After 13 years of processing mortgages, Clements consistently delivers exceptional service to our clients.
Aaron truly enjoys working at Coulee Bank because of the people. “It’s great to be able to connect and build relationships with my coworkers,” he says. One of his favorite events is Unity Day. Each year, all Coulee Bank employees come together for team building, which helps form relationships with other employees in different departments. His favorite Unity Day memory is from 2023, when his team won the bowling challenge and finished third in the overall competition.
Outside of work, he volunteers at his church by playing the drums and coaching the church’s softball team. He is also a bit of a baseball fanatic. “I love the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team. I follow them on a day-to-day basis, keeping track of each Major League Baseball (MLB) team’s 40-man roster on my home computer!” he exclaims. To illustrate his love of baseball, Aaron owns over 7,200 baseball cards organized by team—and probably thousands more at his parents’ house.
He married his wife in 2017, and they have two children together. In 2020, they adopted Bleu, a black lab mix. He enjoys cooking for his family, especially Italian dishes. He perfected chicken parmesan and chicken thighs in a lemon fennel sauce. “My wife jokes that she makes the normal comfort food, while mine is restaurant-style,” he says.
Aaron, we are so grateful you chose to work at Coulee Bank. We appreciate the strengths you bring to the table each day. We wish you all the best in your career with us.
