COVID-19 Response

Our Commitment to Keeping You Updated.

May 13, 2020

To All Coulee Bank Customers,

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Coulee Bank chose to close our lobbies to keep staff and customers safe, even though we are considered an essential business. Earlier this week, management met and made the decision to open all of our branches beginning Monday, May 18th.

The safety of our employees and customers continues to be our top priority. In order to provide a secure environment for our employees and customers, the following safety measures have been implemented at all branch locations:

  • If you must come into the bank, masks are not required but highly encouraged. You will be asked to lower your mask to verify identity.

  • If possible, transactions should be conducted via the drive-thru, phone or online banking to maintain social distancing and minimize face-to-face interaction.

  • Where available, entry and exit to the bank will be limited to different doors. Please try to use the handicap accessible button where available to minimize contact with multiple surfaces.

  • All teller stations are equipped with Plexiglas barriers for protection.

  • All surfaces and ATMs will be wiped down regularly throughout the day.

  • We will attempt to keep hand sanitizer available in our lobbies for customer use.

  • Floor decals are placed to designate safe social distancing while waiting in line.

  • Coffee and water stations will be unavailable to the public until further notice.

  • Restrooms will be closed to the public until further notice.

  • Lobby computers for conducting online banking transactions will be unavailable until further notice.

  • Pets will not be allowed unless it is a registered service animal.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope to resume normal banking operations in the near future. Thank you for your patience and trusting us with your banking needs.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our commitment to our customers and employees remains our top priority.

Sincerely,
Dirk R. Gasterland

To All Coulee Bank Customers,

We are monitoring the situation in all of our communities to determine when we will be able to safely re-open one or more of our lobbies. While we are taking necessary steps to prepare for reopening our lobbies, the safety of our customers and employees will remain our top priority. We are grateful for your understanding and patience during this time.

Keeping Our Customers and Employees Safe

In an effort to minimize contact between customers and employees and the extension of the social distancing guidelines provided by the federal government, Coulee Bank has made the decision to keep our lobbies on an “appointment-only” basis until at least May 18, 2020.

All drive-ups of Coulee Bank will remain open during normal banking hours. If you need to make an appointment simply call or email your banker and let them know when you will be arriving. We ask that if you are displaying symptoms or are feeling ill that you do not visit one of our branches and simply conduct your business via email or phone.

Keeping Our Customers and Employees Safe

In an effort to minimize contact between customers and employees and the extension of the social distancing guidelines provided by the federal government, Coulee Bank has made the decision to keep our lobbies on an “appointment-only” basis until at least April 30, 2020.

The dedication and commitment of our staff has been amazing. They are continuing to provide superior customer service while juggling family responsibilities. We continue to exercise our work-from-home policy and continue daily sanitizing of our branches to ensure that our customers and employees remain safe. Our management team meets weekly to discuss issues surrounding our employees and branches.

Today, Coulee Bank has made a very tough decision to expand our social distancing due to COVID-19 to protect our employees and customers. Our lobbies will be switching to an “appointment only” mode starting March 19, 2020 and extending until at least April 3, 2020. We will re-evaluate our future steps at that time.

The following will be handled by appointment only: business deposits that cannot be done via the drive-up or night drop (example: boxes of coin); foreign currency exchange; loan meetings/closings; new accounts that cannot be done via online account opening; account changes that cannot be done via the phone or email; safe deposit access and other case-by-case needs.

Night drops are available at all branches and will be checked multiple times throughout the business day.

Alternative Banking Methods

  • Our employees will be available via phone, email or text during normal business hours. We are committed to Coulee Bank’s high level of service and we will use as many avenues as possible to assist you.

  • Our free Online and Mobile banking is available to check balances, set up automatic loan payments, make a transfer or loan payment, verify if a check has cleared, and even deposit a check using the camera on your smart phone or tablet.
  • We have telephone banking that is available 24/7 at 844-843-7151. Click here for additional information.
  • You can use your debit card for cash or to make cashless purchase. Withdrawing cash is more risky, because if your money is lost, stolen or destroyed it is not insured and cannot be replaced. We do not advise withdrawing large sums of cash during this time.
