Boy Scouts of AmericaThe Charter of the Boy Scouts of America states that "the purpose of this corporation shall be to promote, through organization and cooperation with other agencies, the ability of boys to do things themselves and with others, to train them in Scoutcraft, and to teach them patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred virtues, using methods which are now in common use by Boy Scouts." It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.


Bridges of Belonging
Bridges of Belonging was organized to acquire, construct, maintain and operate a residential community in the vision of the world wide network of communities founded by Jean Vanier. Bridges of Belonging has a mission to create a Christian community, rooted in the Beatitudes, which supports and protects the dignity of persons with disabilities. Fundamental principles include faith, unity, growth and integration.

Responsible for the oversight of the Onalaska OmniCenter and provide a bonding arm separate from the City.

Their mission is to provide program topics specially selected to cater to all areas of bank responsibility and attract interest from all segments/departments of the bank, ranging from executive management and directors to your front line staff. The programs are designed as a means of disseminating valuable information and trends, but also a way to meet and network with professionals from throughout the region.

The Coulee Region Business Center is a service provided by the La Crosse Area Development Corporation. This corporation focuses on a 'Triad of Development': attraction of business, retention of business and industry and co-management of the Small Business Incubator.

CouleeCapCouleeCap is a private, nonprofit agency established in 1966 during the War on Poverty. Drawing on the strengths of its diverse programs, CouleeCap's main purpose is to provide the tools and resources that empower low-income people to meet their needs, develop self-confidence and reach self-sufficiency. CouleeCap strengthens communities by identifying resources, developing opportunities, and advocating for local adults, youth, and families.

It offers anonymity and cash rewards to persons who furnish information leading to the arrest and the filing of criminal charges against crime offenders and the capture of fugitives.

The Consortium is a group of local lenders, along with the CouleeCap, that are interested in aiding low and moderate income families in achieving the dream of homeownership. The Consortium believes that, with education and counseling, these families will play an important role in the revitalization of neighborhoods and the rehabilitation of properties.


7 Rivers Region Alliance
The 7 Rivers Alliance is a regional leadership group that boosts economic growth by fostering collaboration in western Wisconsin, southeast Minnesota, and northeast Iowa. It brings together public and private resources to forge entrepreneurial growth, and serves as a clearinghouse of vital information to enhance quality of life in the region.


Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is the Children's Advocacy Center located in La Crosse. It offers child-friendly surroundings and provides a private and confidential environment for families dealing with possible abuse and neglect.


United Funds for the Arts and Humanities
United Funds for the Arts and HumanitiesThe United Funds for the Arts and Humanities is an umbrella fund-raising organization that provides funding through 10 of our area's most treasured arts groups. These groups are Coulee Chordsmen, Great River Festival of Arts, La Crosse Boychoir, La Crosse Chamber Chorale, La Crosse Community Theatre, La Crosse County Historical Society, La Crosse Symphony Orchestra, La Crosse Area Youth Symphony Orchestra, Mississippi Valley Archaeology Center, and Pump House Regional Arts Center.


United Way
United WayThe Great Rivers Region United Way continues to be the local premiere fundraising organization. Currently, 27 partner agencies are receiving funds to assist in providing 61 specific programs through the 2006 Community Investment process.

UW-L College of BusinessThe College Business Administration within the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse is dedicated to quality teaching, research and public service. The CBA is the only institution in the region that is accredited by the AACSB International. Less than 1/3 of U.S. business school programs and only 10% of business school programs worldwide meet the rigorous standards of this accreditation.


Western Wisconsin Workforce Development
Western Wisconsin WorkforceThe Workforce Development Board is responsible for setting forth a five-year plan for the operation of 13 federal employment and training programs in local job centers.


Wisconsin/Minnesota Hockey League
Wisconsin - Minnesota Hockey LeagueThe Wisconsin/Minnesota Hockey League is made up of 13 local hockey associations in southeast Minnesota and west central Wisconsin. The league consists of over 70 youth teams from mites to bantams and includes two levels of girls hockey.

The goal is to promote ice hockey as a fun sport for youth in the area and promote sportsmanship among the players, coaches, and families that are involved.
